Taylor Wimpey East Anglia is celebrating the achievements of two of its site managers after they were named among the top 5% of site managers in the UK. Shaun Taylor, site manager at Lark Grange in Bury St Edmunds, and Shane Janse Van Vuuren, site manager at Heather Gardens in Hethersett, Norfolk, have each received the prestigious Pride in the Job 2025 Seal of Excellence Award from the National House-Building Council (NHBC).
Following a Quality Award win earlier this year, both Shaun and Shane were recognised for their exceptional work in delivering high-quality homes. Now in its 45th year, the Pride in the Job award is widely regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the housebuilding industry, celebrating site managers who demonstrate excellence, best practice, and a commitment to raising industry standards.
The judging process is highly rigorous. Thousands of inspections are carried out to identify winners from a longlist of 450 Quality Award recipients, highlighting Shaun and Shane as part of the top 5% of site managers nationally.
