Braintree Village will host the UK debut of the world’s largest touring inflatable playhouse this summer, as Mega Bounce arrives in Essex for an exclusive six‑week run from 18 July – 31 August, with tickets on sale now.
Spanning 2,500 square metres and rising more than eight metres high, Mega Bounce is a full‑scale inflatable world featuring giant characters, multi‑storey slides, obstacle zones, sports challenges and dedicated bounce arenas. Following its launch in Dubai, this will be the attraction’s first appearance in the UK, marking one of the most significant family‑friendly launches of the summer holidays.
Designed as an immersive playground for all ages, Mega Bounce will transform the area adjacent to Braintree Village’s North Car Park into a festival‑style entertainment zone, complete with food vendors, music, and games.
Mega Bounce will open from 10am – 9pm every day with guests able to enjoy unlimited access to Mega Bounce during their 60-minute slot. The daily sessions are:
- From 10am-11am, Quiet Sessions offering all the bounce and none of the noise. These lower-capacity sessions are capped at 100 guests and run without music or announcements. Ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed environment.
- Between 11am – 7pm every day, All Ages* Sessions, showcasing party music, lighting effects and videoclips on the giant screen, plus festival-style food & drinks, and entertainment zones open all day.
- From 7pm – 9pm, Mega Bounce will be Adults Only**, with DJs taking to the stage Thursdays to Sundays for interactive karaoke, plus a full bar, late-night food and festival vibes.
- Selected Saturday sessions will see Mega Bounce’s surrounding arena reimagined as a high‑energy foam party, with a dedicated 7 – 8pm Adults Only slot combining DJs, karaoke and immersive foam effects for a standout festival experience.
For those taking part in the Mega Bounce action or just spectating, the event arena will be a hub of activity, with giant Jenga and Connect 4, a chalk graffiti board, ping-pong, food and drink vendors including a fully stocked bar, and festival atmosphere. The event arena will offer guests plenty of reasons to enjoy a full day out at Mega Bounce and Braintree Village this summer.

General admission tickets* are priced at £18 each, or £15 each for group bookings of more than 6 people. A booking fee is payable per ticket. Tickets for spectators are priced at £3 each which permits entry into the entertainment space but not access to the inflatable Mega Bounce playhouse. Children must be aged 5 years and 1 metre tall to participate, under 4s can spectate for free.
Members of Braintree Village’s rewards programme, PLUS+, will receive a reduced general admission ticket price of £15 per person.
