Braintree Village has unveiled an exciting first glimpse at Mega Bounce, the world’s largest inflatable playhouse, ahead of its highly anticipated UK launch in Essex on Saturday 18th July.
Located in the area adjacent to Braintree Village’s North Car Park, Mega Bounce has transformed the area around Braintree Village into the ultimate playground. It spans 2,500 square metres, featuring giant characters, multi-storey slides, obstacle zones, sports challenges and dedicated bounce arenas, guaranteeing an unforgettable experience for all ages*.
Following its launch in Dubai, this is the attractions first appearance in the UK, marking one of the most significant family-friendly launches of the summer holidays.
Mega Bounce will open from 10am – 9pm every day with guests able to enjoy unlimited access to Mega Bounce during their 60-minute slot.
The daily sessions are:
- From 10am-11am, Quiet Sessions offering all the bounce and none of the noise. These lower-capacity sessions are capped at 100 guests and run without music or announcements. Ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed environment.
- Between 11am – 7pm every day, All Ages* Sessions, showcasing party music, lighting effects and videoclips on the giant screen, plus festival-style food & drinks, and entertainment zones open all day.
- From 7pm – 9pm, Mega Bounce will be Adults Only**, with DJs taking to the stage Thursdays to Sundays for interactive karaoke, plus a full bar, late-night food and festival vibes.
- Selected Saturday sessions will see Mega Bounce’s surrounding arena reimagined as a high‑energy foam party, with a dedicated 7 – 8pm Adults Only slot combining DJs, karaoke and immersive foam effects for a standout festival experience.
Whether they’re bouncing or just cheering from the sidelines, guests can enjoy a lively summer event arena featuring: DJs, street food and drink vendors including a fully stocked bar, giant games such as Jenga and Connect 4, ping-pong, a chalk graffiti wall, mega-screen entertainment and a buzzing festival atmosphere. General Admission tickets include a full hour on Mega Bounce with unlimited laps, plus all-day access to the event arena, while Spectator tickets offer unlimited time to soak up the atmosphere, without needing to step onto the inflatable playhouse.

General admission tickets are priced at £18 each, or £15 each for group bookings of more than eight people. A booking fee is payable per ticket. Tickets for spectators are priced at £3 each which permits entry into the entertainment space but not access to the inflatable Mega Bounce playhouse. Children must be aged 5 years and 1 metre tall to participate, under 4s can spectate for free.
Members of Braintree Village’s rewards programme, PLUS+, will receive a reduced general admission ticket price of £15 per person.
