Rumenco has announced two new products will join its iconic pink Lifeline Lamb and Ewe buckets to extend its charitable collaboration with the Pink Ribbon Foundation. A pink branded Lifeline Lamb and Ewe block has been added to help raise further funds along with a new pink Promark marking spray from Nettex, which is part of the Rumenco group.
“In the last year we have raised in excess of £18,000 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation, which is a great achievement and contribution, but we felt there were more ways we could help. Launching these newly branded products will further contribute to our commitment to raising money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation and we are hopeful that, with farmer support, we can significantly increase the total next year,” says Rumenco Managing Director, Nigel Lyon.
Every year, more than 55,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer. The majority of people affected by breast cancer are women, but 400 men are also diagnosed every year.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant-making trust that funds projects and provides financial support to UK charities. This helps to relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, or have been affected by, breast cancer. It also supports those who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment.
“The new Promark pink spray from Nettex will certainly stand out and we would welcome farmers sharing pictures with us on Facebook and Instagram. The success of the Lifeline buckets will now be built on by including our Lifeline Lamb and Ewe blocks for those who want to support the campaign but prefer a block-based system,” says Mr Lyon.
