Lincolnshire homebuilder Chestnut Homes has recently welcomed three new employees to its expert sales team.
Donna Skate, Marilyn Inglis and Karen Carpenter have all joined Chestnut Homes as New Homes Specialists and are now based at various developments within the county.
Donna, Marilyn and Karen support homeseekers with their move into a brand-new Chestnut home, covering everything from first enquiry through to handing over the keys. Day to day, they welcome prospective buyers to their developments, give guided tours of the showhomes, share regular updates and ensure reservations are handled as efficiently as possible.
Donna works at the homebuilder’s The Meadows development in Dunholme, which offers a beautiful collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes. Having previously worked for solicitors and other housebuilders, delivering great customer care and connecting people with a brand-new home is what attracted Donna to the property industry.
Donna said: “The most enjoyable part of my job is meeting new people and handing our homes over to excited customers. Helping someone find their dream home is incredibly rewarding, and my proudest moment at Chestnut Homes so far is the first time I gave a homebuyer the keys to their new home.

Marilyn welcomes property seekers to Heron Park in Wyberton, a collection of two and three-bedroom homes on the outskirts of Boston. Boasting a fantastic location, Heron Park is close to a wide range of amenities, ensuring residents have everything they need on their doorstep.
Marilyn explained: “I love being here for people who are starting their buying journey, whether they’re looking for their first home or a forever home for their growing family, or making their last move for retirement. Seeing our customers’ happy faces on completion day makes it all worthwhile, and I feel very proud to be making sales.

Karen is the newest edition to the team and will be based at Chestnut Homes’ upcoming Manor Farm development in Bardney. Until Manor Farm’s launch in early 2027, Karen is supporting the team at Kings Manor in Coningsby, where a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes are available.
Karen said: “I first started working as a new homes sales executive in 1985, after spending time as an estate agent, and quickly realised I’d found my calling. My parents both worked within the housebuilding industry, so I was essentially brought up on a construction site. I love building up brand-new communities and being part of someone’s homebuying journey, helping them to achieve a major life goal and make new memories.
